WEB Partnerships in the Town of Oyster Bay

 CEO provides services to at-risk youth in the Towns of: Oyster Bay, North Hempstead, and  the city of Glen Cove. The program focuses on high school dropout prevention, work-readiness skills, and aiding students in applying for post-secondary education or securing good entry-level employment.

  • Program Overview:

    • To be eligible, students must be from a family with low income and meet another need as identified in the grant:

    • Students receive up to 120 hours of paid employment during the Summer that will align with the student’s unique career interests and vocational goals.

    • Students participate in weekly career readiness instruction with a school certified Career Consultant. This program is sponsor funded by Department of Labor designed to provide all students with work readiness skills.

    • Weekly Instruction Includes:

      • Interview

      • Resume Writing

      • Job Search Skills

      • Financial Literacy
